The NOSKE GROUP acknowledges that the threat posed by climate change is caused predominantly by the production and use of energy, including electricity, natural gas, petrol, oil and by waste decomposition. As such the NOSKE GROUP realises their responsibility as a business to find ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Active participation in the Greenhouse Challenge Plus forms a critical part of the NOSKE GROUP’s overall Environmental strategy.
The Greenhouse Challenge Plus is a cooperative partnership between industry and the Australian Government to:
- Reduce greenhouse gas emissions
- Accelerate the uptake of energy efficiency
- Integrate greenhouse issues into business decision-making
- Provide more consistent reporting of greenhouse gas emissions levels.
NOSKE GROUP operates one of the most energy efficient transport fleets in the industry, and are continuously ‘Greening our Fleet’ by investigating new and emerging technologies with the potential to improve both environmental and operational efficiencies.
The NOSKE GROUP has been a member of the Greenhouse Challenge since 10/06/2008.

Official Charity
The official NOSKE GROUP charity is the Portland Victoria branch of the "Make A Wish" foundation.
The co-ordinator of the Portland branch is Mrs Gail Jaensch, the wife of Michael Jaensch, one of our ELITE driver group.
$0.10 per tonne of all "Longhaul" freight carried is donated to this most worthy cause and we are extremely proud to be able to assist Gail and her team in helping fullfill the dreams of terminally ill children from the Portland and surrounding district.
